The Youth Select Committee have released the report into knife crime and provides an insightful range of narratives and evidence to reinforce the impacts for young people. This goes someway to oppose to the ongoing deficit blame culture that policy focuses on as young people as the ‘problem’ to be solved. The lack of youth services is raised as an issue and the suggested Government uplift credited and yet challenged as insufficient. The document is well worth a read.
